Last October 13, 2012, we went to MOA and attended this Family Run hosted by the Philippine Pediatric Society. This was my brother's first "official run" so he got so excited that we arrived at 5 am sharp. The run started at 6:30 am. The event was hosted by Dr. Francis Dimalanta who is a renowned Developmental and Behavioral Pediatrician. Trivia: His patients need to have an appointment done 2 fuhreakin' months before the actual check-up. I can say he is THIS good. Oh how I wish someday he would refer clients to me. That's just me dreaming. Haha!

The event was in partnership with EASMI

This is me with my nephew Gabriell and my brother Benj

We had a warm-up first guided by a hot gym instructor. I wasn't able to take photos though. After the warm-up, we eventually started the run. There were 3K, 6K, and 10K. We got the 3K and as what Dr. Dimalanta joked, it was the run for the weakest. Lol.

There were 2 checkpoints where we got to drink Powerade. In times of strenuous activities like this, nothing beats an energy drink to increase stamina!

After 46 minutes of running and walking, I got to finish the 3K! Mehehe. I know that was a bad record but I'll work on that. HAHA

After the run, we got very hungry so we went to Eastwood and had enormous meals at Something Fishy. Btw, it was an eat all you can breakfast.

I intentionally forget my diet whenever it's an eat all you can resto. Like, who cares of getting more fats when you can have unlimited food with a fixed price, isn't it?

After we ate, I suddenly realized that I need to run some more. Haha!
We went home and I packed my things for Ilocos.

end.xoxo
