Ladies and gents, these were some of the lights from my beloved university. I always love the Christmas aura in UST. I really do. In fact, The University of Santo Tomas becomes a "Manila Tourist Attraction" every Christmas. I am not kidding. This year, aside from the usual huge Christmas tree which actually changes with the design every year,  Christmas lights, lovely chandeliers and mini Christmas trees were decorated all over the place. The second picture above is the Main Building (yes, it's not a Church), decorated and lighted with giant parols. I would like to apologize for the low-quality photos for they were just taken through my phone. Nevertheless, the beauty of Christmas in UST was clearly seen with these photos. I'm in love with my school. I wanna marry my school. Somebody please save me.

Shout-outs to all the girls out there! Say hello and goodbye to your BIG INSECURITIESYou don't have to be insecure to anybody, because real talk? You guys are already good on your own! You're too good to be feeling that way. You're pretty, adorable, & smart (I know you guys are) and most especially, you are YOU.
You don't have to be like anyone else. You don't have to pretend to be like someone else. YOU ARE UNIQUE! OUR DEAR GOD MADE US ALL DIFFERENT. No two persons are alike, even twins! I guarantee you that. You should stop comparing yourself to others because truth is, you are one of a kind. You have things in life that others might have dreamt of having. You have the life that others might have dreamt of living. So shake off you insecurities!

You got a life to live and to live that life joyfully, YOU NEED TO BE YOURSELF. Feel blessed and be contented with what you have.

Always remember, you are *insert your name here*. Nag iisa ka! Wala kang katulad! YOU ARE YOU. Be happy because you deserve it! Love yourself! :)

P.S. I dedicate this to my best girls, my sisters, Aia and Gee. And also to you, who tries to be like her.

"It's a girl thing." was Posted On: Monday, November 26, 2012 @5:05 PM | lovely comments

It's been a long time since I last stayed home over the weekends. Yesterday and today were a bit new to my system. Why? Because I did stay home all day and dear I am not used to that. All I did was read, eat, sleep. I felt a bit bored in the afternoon so I managed to cook. I checked the fridge and there I saw some leftovers. What's nice about leftovers is that I can make a new recipe out of it!
Saturday. I wanted to eat burger. I saw Embutido in the fridge and transformed it into patties! There you have it, my Embutido Burgers!
Sunday. I wanted to eat veggies. Ever since I got this toothache, I always eat noodles yet I believe that it takes 3 days before it finally digests everything. So unhealthy. But who can blame me? It's soft and easy to chew. But hey, vegetables are soft too! So I transformed the mixed vegetables into Dragon Veggies!
Leftovers are ready-to-remake-food-inside-the-fridge. All you have to have is a creative mind to make a new recipe out of the old one.

What do you think? : >

This is what I wore one boring and hot day during my break.

I will dye my hair very soon, again. I was warned by my professor that the color was too light.

Hi. I woke up today missing my hometown, Ilocos. I miss everything about it. I miss everything in it. I've been sick and drug dependent for two days and all I ever wanted was to go home and hug my mom and dad tight. In times like these, I just want to be with them. But, I can't. I have class tomorrow and I can't travel my sick ass. Oh, take me home. I miss my parents so much. I miss my friends. I miss my baby boy. I wanna go home. Please, take me home.

"Take Me Home" was Posted On: Thursday, November 22, 2012 @11:39 PM | lovely comments

Last Sunday, me and my friends went out together randomly. Just like what everybody says, "mas masaya pag biglaan!" And so it was! This date was also a "pambawi" to my good friend, my brother, Justin. Last November 12, 2012, he celebrated his birthday and unfortunately, Aia and I weren't able to attend his party.

I wore this pink ombre top given by my mom. Yes, I am acknowledging my mother because she seldom gives clothes which are within her will! lol and fyi, she got a good sense of fashion too. ;)

First stop: we went to Katips and had our ''merienda".

These are my friends! L-R: Aia, Justin, Jie-Yannah, and Jam.

Cowgirl Annie Steak

Carbonara

I was craving for something sweet that time then Jie-Yannah introduced this milkshake to me. It was really a trip to cloud 9! I loved it! Really a must try! Btw, I had Peanut Butter Banana Caramel.

After having luscious meals at Katipunan, we went to Eastwood.

Since we weren't able to attend Justin's birthday, we planned to surprise him! Bought a mini Choco Caramel for him. We weirdly sang the Happy Birthday Song while approaching him. Yes, it was awkward but who cares? That was the test of real friendship! HAHA

After surprising Justin, we went outside the mall for a walk. We saw Zorb Ball then Jie-Yannah and Aia tried it. I wasn't in the mood to try it so as what I always do when I have my camera with me, I took their photos.

Two awesome ladies having fun inside the Zorb Ball

Night came. We had our dinner at Seafood Island.

=)))))

This was the best group picture we had. Srsly? BEST? ABSOLUTELY! Roflol! There was a story behind this one. While we were eating, I asked one of the waiters to take us a picture. Due to our convincing powers, he took us 3 photos. Good enough, wasn't it? Surprisingly, when we checked it, all the shots were blurred! That was the only time we realized that my camera was on manual focus! Hahaha! We tried another set of photos again taken by Aia's helper, ate Evelyn. He took several shots but then  again, no photos were good enough. This was the one and only "good" shot we had. Too bad the girl's head was included. JUST OUR LUCK. =)))

After we had our dinner, we went to G8 Avenue and had a few drinks. We chose this bar because it was the  only bar that had a live band. They were the Young, Wild, and Free.

It was my first time to jam in front of people! But! I didn't do it alone! Luckily, I got to jam with my sister, Aia. :3

We sang Akap by Imago.

After the bonding at Katips and Eastwood, we called it a day and went home at Justin's crib. We slept over because our Monday was a free day! We ate while chitchatting at Jie-Yannah's room.

Before we went to sleep, of course we took photos! Mehehe.

Woke up at 12 N, had brunch at 2 PM then went home at 3 PM.
Priceless bonding <33

"Lucky Me" was Posted On: Tuesday, November 20, 2012 @8:34 AM | lovely comments

Hi! :) Last Saturday, I attended the SLP General Assembly and the Pan Pacific Conference on Rehabilitation held at UST. That same day, my sister, bro-in-law, and I were scheduled to watch the last installment of The Twilight Saga in the evening. And because I love Kristen Stewart, my inspiration to my outfit was totally her!

I love laid back outfits. Why? Because it's playful and unique. It's effortless too. You don't get to dress up to impress others but basically to express your own style. And by showing your own style, you're also giving people a hint about the real you. Btw, I told you before that I am not a skirt/dress person. That's true! I'm the type of girl who would choose rubber shoes over heels! When I was a kid, my mom told me I dressed like a boy. Srsly. Haha! But now, just for the record, I am trying to be a girly girl as well! After all, I'm still a lady who wants to look like a woman. lol
