Squeeze Me

I went home to Ilocos because (1) I wanted to, (2) my mom asked me to, (3) it was father's day last Sunday. And so I skipped my Saturday classes and took the bus trip last Friday night. My father did not know about this coz it was meant to be a surprise for him.

DAY 1. Saturday.



Brought home some Jet Puffed and Oreo Green Tea which I ordered from @kitkatqueenmnl. The marshmallow creme is perfect for marshmallow lovers like me and the green tea was just too good and yummy! I defined it as an oreo with a twist of leaf.


Invited my high school friends at home for lunch then we watched 10 Things I Hate About You afterwards. We got hungry after watching the film so I prepared crepe and we had this design-your-own-crepe-contest! We had fresh bananas, Smuckers (blueberry and raspberry), nutella and jet puffed for filling and decorating crepes.


This was what I made. Put some blueberry jam, nutella, jet puffed and bananas. Very delish. 


Afternoon came. We decided to have a dip in the pool (just like what we always love to do when we were in HS) so I drove our car and tried this new resort called D Outbase. The pool area was just small, not what I have expected it to be but it was alright. At night, they opened the pool lights which were color red, blue, and yellow. Just too perfect for the ambiance and vibe.


Meet my friends: Charm, Mariam, Sheryl, Marjorie, Jovanie, Chezka, and my pretty cousin PJ. Went home at around 10pm. Fun catching up and bonding with them indeed.

DAY 2. Sunday. Happy Father's Day!


What I wore for Father's Day. Shot at Calle Crisologo, Vigan City Ilocos Sur.


Woke up early to pick up these cutesy cupcakes I ordered from my former schoolmate, Imee.


Went to Laoag City and dined at Hap Chan owned by our family friend. Chinese spoon! Lol


To the best dad, I hope I made you happy. I love you beyond words.


Celebrated Father's Day sans my siblings. Just mom, dad, cousin, best friend and goddaughter. 


Photo with Tito Jim and Tita Derla. They were just very accommodating, nice, and sweet to us. They let us ordered anything we wanted and it made my tummy set fireworks inside, really.


Best friend Chezka with Joie baby. Too cute for my life. 


See how nice they were? They even got us ice cream to eat on our way home. Reached Vigan at around 5 pm. Met up with Aira, PJ, and Ely. 


Went to Biguenos Cafe.net where we hang and had some quality time together. Tried their Cookie Monster drink and this monster Burger. Verdict? Very yummy and tasty! I would definitely go back there again! Plus the price is really cheap yet you get to taste heaven in your mouth.



I have been really doing this bunny pose ever since I don't remember so we made fool of ourselves and had a bunny shot at Calle Crisologo before going home.

Went back to Manila Sunday night so here I am now blogging about my short Ilocos weekend trip wishing it was forever.
