PASKUHAN '12
Excited ka na ba?
Handa ka na ba?
May isusuot ka na ba?
May kasama ka na ba?

These are just some of the questions that keep on playing on my mind after the mind blowing exams last week. Paskuhan 2012. What is it all about? What makes my subconscious process all these questions? Well, let me talk to you about it. Paskuhan is the annual Christmas celebration of University of Santo Tomas which also serves as the year-end party for the whole Thomasian community.

The Paskuhan, being a treat for students, is geared with a lot of surprises! The raffle draw which you can win flat TV, netbook, cellphone, and a whole lot more, and the guest showbiz stars and comedians who will be entertaining us are just some. Of course, it won't be complete without the guest bands like Urbandub, Spongecola, and Join The Club to name a few that will jam with the awesome crowd. But, let me just emphasize the real highlight of the event, the much awaited, the breathtaking, thrilling, one-of-a-kind UST Pyromusical show. The most awesome firework display that will make your jaw drop. The most beautiful scene that will make you say wow in every firework that lights the dark sky. No wonder how this event really makes the students look forward to, either Thomasians or not. It is an event that every student should not miss. It is an event that everybody must attend. Why? Because it is simply the best Christmas party!

Anyway, awhile ago we attended the Paskuhan Mass held at the Grandstand and the Agape Dinner at the Medicine Building. I can describe the massive urge of my fellow students as similar to that of the "pilahan ng NFA rice." Lol. But seriously, there were very long lines in each food station. Definitely, we patiently waited in every line and we made our very best to get as much food as we can. We got a lot of Chicken and Lechon. Sadly, we ran out of the beef. Nonetheless, we were all satiated and bloated with the food that we had.

Now, I could totally say that I already have the Paskuhan Fever, literally and figuratively. I've been a sick kid since last week because of my weak body. And to this moment, I am really hyped to the Paskuhan '12! I can feel it rushing through my veins, triggering my adrenal glands to produce adrenaline hormones that would make me more and more excited on this event! I know that this year's Paskuhan will be epic. With good company and good vibes, I'm sure we will make it happen.
