Hello! A lot of my friends already know where I'm best at aside from sleeping. that is, cooking. Food. Meal. Viand. Preparing food has always been an ecstasy to me which I can't escape. I make simple recipes into "my extraordinary version". I'm not bragging that I make awesome food but hell yeah, I can make my loved ones crave for more. My best critique at home is my dad. He frankly say to me when the chicken is cooked raw, when the soup tastes bland, or when the viand is salty. Although he is a bit harsh telling what's exactly wrong about my dish, I take every comments as a constructive criticism. I'm still learning and still willing to learn some more.
Aside from cooking meals, can I just confess that I have a sweet tooth? I have this strange connection with sugars, chocolates, icings, cookies, pancakes, cupcakes. Anything sweet, and just to sum it up, I love desserts! I can marry them. Legit.
Oreo cookies are my forever favorite. I used to twist it, lick it, and dunk it on my glass full of milk when I was a little girl. But now that I'm a grown up, doing the same thing seems to be not fun anymore. I tried making wicked oreos but then again, I wanted to try something new. So I asked my good friend, Google for some easy and quick recipes for Oreos. Then I found this blog site Picky Palate. You can check it if you want. The blogger has this awesome recipe that only needs 3 precious ingredients and she called it No-Bake Chewy Cookies and Cream Bars. Since I'm not a "bake-person", I found this interesting and easy.

So here's the 3 ingredients: Oreo cookies, butter, and marshmallows. To make it more "me", I added cream cheese to my ingredients. I love cream cheese. The sour-salty taste that my buds would surely enjoy.

I crushed the Oreos. I used ziploc and wine bottle to break it into smaller pieces. Be sure it's crumbly not ground! After such, I melted the marshmallows and butter in a large microwave-safe bowl until puffy. I removed it then combined it with the Oreos. Stirred the whole thing then transferred it to the container.

I let it settle for 20 minutes then put it in the fridge overnight.
Morning came. I checked it and this is what it looks like.

I call this my Chewy Oreo Cream Cheese Bars!

NOM NOM

Btw, my dad wanted me to make another one. He surprisingly liked it. Yey for me!
