It was planned yesterday to spent the night at my sister's place at Tandang Sora. So Aira and I had to commute to get there. Yes, we didn't consider riding a cab because we challenged ourselves to save money for Christmas. The cheapest possible ride we could get was riding the jeep. So, we rode the jeep going to Delta then rode another jeep going to SM North. As we passed by the overpass going to SM North where we could get our last ride going to Tandang Sora, we noticed several people standing and looking under. Given my curious mind, I asked the security guard what it was all about then he answered me politely saying that it will be the night where they would light the mall's giant Christmas tree followed by a firework display. That gave us a choice, to stay and watch the show.

They said it will start by 6 pm but twas already 6:30 pm that time and we were so hungry so we had Dairy Queen while waiting.
Just when we were about to finish our ice creams, there came the firework display. OMG. It was amazing. It reminded me of our UST's firework display every Paskuhan (the only difference is that ours lasts longer and more breath-taking! lol). I can't wait for Paskuhan '12! Will be attending this enormous event with my love. Lalala
Anyway, after watching the firework display, we walked through the long area of Skygarden and spotted a good place to eat. After seeing so many restos, we chose Smiley's by a unanimous decision. Why? Because we love chicken so bad and like what I said awhile, we were super hungry already so we chose this for they serve the food fast! According to them, they serve the best chicken wings and waffles! True enough, it was superb! Also, they have this chicken-rice-drink-all-you-can for only 299php! We are definitely going back there and start the fight!

We had Banana Butterscotch Waffle with Nutella Overload for dessert.
After we ate, we went to the ground floor and had a closer look to the giant Christmas tree. We had this lovely shots. Walked to the taxi stand to get a cab and went to my sister's home.
Christmas is indeed fast approaching. It's just now that it's getting into my system. Therefore, I am offering love and happiness for everyone! Advance Merry Christmas! :)
