Hi there! As part of our completion exams for the second semester, we conducted a small event wherein we catered Hearing Impaired children. The title of the event was Cirque de Ecoute. The theme was in line with circus and/or carnival so the implied outfit was anything colorful, playful, and suited for kids (we can copy any cartoon characters except anime and strictly no cosplay lol). Initially, I planned to be Dora since my hair was short (so it will be more convincing haha) and I got all the stuff for me to copy her look but I realized that it was so simple and effortless. So, the plan B was to be Wilma of The Flintstones. I went to a tailor shop and got my Wilma dress done. Unfortunately, they were not able to copy it. It became a Cows vs Aliens inspired dress and I felt a tad bad but I had no choice but to think of a plan C. Disappointed as I was, I just picked anything from my wardrobe and that was it. It turned out, I just looked like a little girl, no more copying of a specific character. But little did I know, I accidentally imitated a cartoon character. While I was walking along Plaza Mayor going to Quadri Pavilion at UST, a random guy shouted at me saying "Uy si Misty sa Pokemon o!" Then baam! All along I didn't know I was Misty but when that guy assumed that I was really Misty, I embraced that idea for the whole day! I made my Pokeball and tied my hair high up on the right side of my head. Hi, I am "modern Misty!"

I will be posting the other photos about the event next! :)

Hiyee! Yesterday was TGIF! My brother, Benj, planned to have dinner at Octoboy, Morato. Since I also have plans that night at the same area, I accepted the deal right away. Not to mention that I'm a sucker for treats! Lol. We tasted the Okonomiyaki Octopus (Japanese Pizza) and the authentic Takoyaki.
After dinner, I went to Perfect Spot to meet up with my girls. We got a bucket of beer there and then went to en Route Distillery. We were supposed to play Beer Pong but unfortunately, the tables were occupied so we just had Jack Coke and Rhum Cola at their bar. We were all enjoying the night and we wanted to make the most of it so we got a guest list at Excess. We got inside effortlessly but the place was too crowded and smothering! Little did we know, it was their 2nd Anniversary Party. We decided to hop in to another bar so the final place to chill was in Round One! (my favorite chill place) We had Frozen Margaritas and a lot of food! They have the best cook I swear! Lol. More than the things we had last night, I must say that we had so much fun together! The bonding, catching up stories and "baliwan" stuff. Yeah, girls just wanna have fun! :)

"Some Nights" was Posted On: Saturday, February 16, 2013 @12:02 AM | lovely comments

Hey! I've been very busy about crazy school that's why I can't even manage to do outfit shots and blog about it. I'm really sorry for all my viewers. Please bear with me. I'm really just trying to focus more on my studies. Being a senior and preparing for internship is really a tough blow. I need to give it my best shot in order to keep things on the right path! So yeah, I'm being not-so-active here in my blog.

Anyway, yesterday, February 14, was all about love. Hearts all over. Repeat? L.O.V.E. In my 19 years of existence, it has been a day I would not even want to give a fcvk for several reasons: (1) I don't take it as an event worth celebrating for like "so what if it's valentine's day" attitude, (2) I consider it as an ordinary Thursday since I am just happy living my life on my own, no "kilig" moments with someone, and I hated it so much this year because (3) I just had my heart broken by someone who I thought would "handle it (my heart) with care."

But yesterday changed my perspective about this special day. It was way beyond my expectations. I was surprised not only once but eight fureakin' times! I received a lot of flowers and chocolates and it made me feel like "ganito pala kasaya ang heart's day!" Really. Efforts and surprises are 2 best traits I possess. I like making other people dumbfounded. I like the thought of marking a smile on their  faces because of the little things I do for them. And yesterday, it was the other way around. I was the one who was astonished by these little things they made especially for me. It really felt grand. It felt heartwarming. Those simple gestures only proved to me four things: (1) You don't need a partner to feel loved, (2) A lot of people will appreciate you the way you are, (3) There will always be that someone who will know your value, and (4) would be so much willing to do those little things just to make you happy.

Somebody gave my favorite flower. I can't even... Whoever you are, thanks!

The inventory of the "love gifts" I received. Lols. Thank you so much! <33

The "pwede din palang kiligin maski single" faces. =))

Indeed, life is good! EAT. PRAY. LOVE.

Hiyee viewers! I'm really sorry if I had a slight hiatus with my blog life, I was just so busy with school. It was our hell week and I decided to prioritize first what needs to be prioritized and that was education. However, I'm so happy to say that the exams are finally over which means I am back to my sideline monkey business, blogging.
I wore this outfit last January 27, 2013 on my niece's 1st Birthday Party held at Activ Fun SM Annex. I will be posting pictures from the party next! Meanwhile, here's the thing about having a big love of sharing looks and blogging it eventually: YOU. TAKE. PHOTOS. EVERYWHERE. I mentioned to my previous blog post long time ago that I don't actually have the courage to do outfit shots along the streets but then as my passion for blogging continues, I started doing it confidently. Lols. Last Sunday, I took another bite of that "passion for blogging" thingy which actually gave me the courage to do look shots at the parking space! Ergo, these photos. As you can see there were no parked cars yet because we arrived early so I grabbed the opportunity! Mehehe. Indeed, another brave step all for the love of blogging.
